In addition to their soy ice cream, the folks at Turtle Mountain also make some awesome coconut milk-based ice cream. They are sweetened with agave nectar instead of sugar and lower in fat and calories than most premium ice creams.

The coconut milk delivers a smooth, creamy taste that surpasses anything else. Some of the same flavours of the soy-based desserts are repeated in these; we love the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough… And yes, it’s gluten-free.

The folks at Chicago Soy Dairy have focused on a creamy, authentic taste, made in a dedicated dairy-free facility. They include some not-so-typical flavours, such as coffee, green tea, and our favourite, Peach Cobbler.

Living Harvest Tempt™ Non-Dairy Ice Cream

Made from smooth and creamy Hempmilk, Tempt™ frozen desserts are a delicious alternative to soy. They are also free of gluten, cholesterol, and are non-gmo and kosher.

Luna and Larry’s Coconut Bliss

Last but not least is the epitome of coconut ice cream. This is our favourite, with flavours that makes your mouth water just at their mention.

Simple flavours are highlighted in a creamy base in their flavours Vanilla Island, Dark Chocolate and Naked Coconut. All versions are gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free and soy-free.

But we have to say, the Chocolate Hazelnut Fudge takes the cake. Creamy chocolate ice cream filled with hazelnuts and chocolate chunks, it tastes like a deconstructed Nutella that tickles your tastebuds with every bite.
