Resources for ethical fashion
By Laurie Posted on August 5th, 2009 in Fashion, Latest NewsLooking to communicate with like-minded fashionistas in the eco-fashion industry? Look no further, with a great source to connect with others who live for both style and sustainability.
The Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF) is an internet destination for sharing and supporting others in the same industry, while simultaneously s
parking inspiration.
It’s open to designers, retailers, buyers, fair trade producers, manufacturers, NGO’s, fashion students and tutors, consumers, and anyone else with a fashion-forward mind. Their aim is to deliver a destination for shared practices, ideas, resources, communication and links across the industry.
The EFF is a non-profit organization, focusing on poverty reduction, education and the environment, in relation to the fashion industry.
Their vision is to develop a collaborative movement which will transform social and environmental standards in the fashion industry within a decade.
If you’re within the industry – from planting to purchase – be sure to connect to their site, get involved, or take advantage of their upcoming events, including a masterclass on producing overseas, and a seminar spotlighting Africa.
