		<description>We usually harvest a bunch earlier in the year. The are known here in Japan as warabi. The ferns are perhaps behind the high incidence of stomach cancer. Very good eating nonetheless.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve never seen fiddlehead ferns in Virginia, where I live.  I have eaten them once -- up in New York state and a relative had brought them down from Maine that day.  They were delish and I wish I could get them down here.</description>
