With Canada’s recent enforcement of organic labeling standards, cooperation among Canada and the United States for trade has improved, too.

Canadian organic companies will soon be able to export to the US and market themselves without additional American certification; likewise, the US will be able to do the same in Canada.

Both the Canada Organic Biologique logo and the USDA Organic seal may be used.

This makes it easier for consumers, organizations and companies to distribute and purchase goods hailing from either side of the border.
