Airline JetBlue has launched One Thing That’s Green, a program devoted to honoring Earth Day and making a difference. With a goal to inspire 22,000 people to take the pledge, they are offering some attractive incentives in return.

JetBlue believes in reducing eco-impact, supporting environmental activities, and educating both themselves and others. They’ve partnered with a few major companies to help them spread the word.

By committing to do One Thing That’s Green, you have the chance to enter their sweepstakes to win. And the pledges are simple:

  • reducing shower time
  • use less gas or public transit
  • replace standard light bulbs with energy efficient alternatives
  • wash clothes on cold water
  • adjust thermostat 2 degrees cooler or warmer, depending on the season

Easy. In fact, you probably already do these things (and if you don’t, try pledging to do all five – really, they are easy, simple switches with big results).

And the prizes? They offer a slew of sustainable (and heck, awesome), swag: a Toyota Prius, HGTV Green Room Makeover,  Amana energy-efficient appliances, trips to Sedona and the Bahamas, a Dell Studio Hybrid™ PC, Bionaire® purifiers and humidifiers, a tree-planting excursion to New Orleans (including being a part of a documentary), and a Sakroots Eco-Tote, among them.
