According to Google Trends, 2008 saw a relatively consistent increase in the “green jobs” search, while 2009 has leaped substantially more. Here are some resources to help you get started.

Much loved eco-website Treehugger features a job board for those on the search.
ECO Canada
eco.ca (Canada)
A part of Canada’s sector council initiative, to service the environmental sector, including employers, practitioners, educators, and students.
Work Cabin

The first environmental jobs site to use Bullfrog Power™, Canada’s leading 100% green electricity retailer that uses sources that have achieved the government’s EcoLogo certification. (Oh, and they have a lot of great resources and info, too).

Focuses on all aspects of employment in renewable energy, and offers employment services, news and information.
Environmental Career
environmental-jobs.com (US)
They help promote environmental businesses and organizations and their job openings via powering a dedicated environmental job site.
Idealist
idealist.org (International)
A project of Action Without Borders, Idealist is an interactive site where people and organizations can exchange resources, ideas, and opportunities. (We like this one the best).
GoodWork
goodworkcanada.ca (Canada)
Connects employers with employees, and includes a green job board.
Sustainable Business
sustainablebusiness.com (US)
A global news and networking servings to help grow green businesses, covering all sectors that impact sustainability: renewable energy, green building, green investing, and organics.
